Short Story Illustrations
These illustrations were created to promote the short stories featured in my #ReadWeird series. I created this series on BlueSky and Facebook (previously on Twitter/X too) to share a free Weird Fiction short story on Wednesdays. Why? Weird Fiction is one of my favorite genres but it doesn’t get as much attention as my other faves. I wanted to spread the love.
Many of the stories I share already have a related image, either a book cover or an illustration. But some don’t and I don’t want eyes to scroll past those stories. For those stories I either find an art piece that I think reflects the story well or I create an illustration for them. These are some examples of my Weird Fiction illustrations. The authors that saw them really liked them.
